About Dr Rajeev Bedi

Dr Rajeev Bedi is working as senior consultant & head, Department of Medical Oncology, Fortis Hospital Mohali, and Delwyn Hospitals at Chandigarh.

He has done DM in Medical Oncology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and has 15 years of experience in medical oncology. He has undergone fellowship in Hematology in Royal Marsden Hospital at London. Dr Rajeev Bedi (Gold Medalist) is the recipient of prestigious Geeta Mittal Award for best cancer researcher of the year 2002 from the President of India, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam.

His key areas of interest are breast Cancer, lung Cancer, Gastro-intestinal Cancer and gynecological cancers. He has been actively involved in research and is a Principal Investigator for many international and national trials in head and neck, lung, GI cancers. He has published many papers in reputed journals and has read numerous papers in national and international conferences.

Dr Bedi is actively involved in public awareness programs through Doordarshan, Radio and print media for creating the awareness about cancer among the society. He holds regular camps and public awareness lectures in collaboration with various social organizations.
